If elected, these persons will study and prepare to be ordained and installed to serve as Elders on the Session, prayerfully guiding this congregation, much as the Leadership Team has done in the last several years. Elders should be "persons of faith, dedication, and good judgment. Their manner of life should be a demonstration of the Christian gospel, both within the church and in the world." This Sunday we celebrate the success of our summer experiences in Lively Learning.
The Joyful Jammers, directed by Joe Sardo, will lead us in an enjoyable sing-along with the praise band.
Gia Havener, with children and youth, has prepared a fun adaptation of the musical,"Cool in the Furnace."
Our worship service will focus on vignettes from the book of Daniel, so by the end of the morning you should be well-acquainted with the courageous faith stories of Daniel and his friends, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
