We’ve arrived at our long-awaited Fun-day Sunday. Hope you have invited friends and neighbors, as this is going to be a great day for all of us! If you haven’t been at Peace in a while, this is a wonderful time to re-connect, see our new place.
Here’s the schedule: Set up for worship and for Funday at 8:00. Worship at 9:30. Greet worship guests and take care of final details at 10:30. Funday 11:00-1:00. Childcare 1:00-4:00. Those who are not assisting with childcare, clean up. At 5:00 collapse in the easy chair at home.
Remember to bring all the Fruits of the Spirit to this day – love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. In addition to exhibiting all those wonderful fruits, you might wear blue, maybe even Peace shirt, if you have one.
Our worship service focuses on the Peaceable Kingdom from Isaiah 11:1-10. The rest of the day we live out the peaceable kingdom by giving families a great day of refreshment.
We’re thankful for each of you and for the amazing generosity we see your offering of time and in the funds pledged for 2011. We’re eager to see everyone meaningfully involved in the life and ministries of Peace. With your commitment, we will continue to grow into an exciting future with God’s help.
