It is a joy to be settling in our new home – having ministry teams and choir groups and staff here! In a few weeks, it will be time to dedicate this wonderful new gift from God on a Sunday in late October, and to FEAST on GRATITUDE. Some of you will remember last year as we chartered that we gathered in homes to “feast on gratitude.” Gratitude dinners will rock your socks and your bellies, so sign up for a dinner this Sunday or email Kim at ktuite1@verizon.net October 22-23 or November 5-6.
This week’s theme is “Nurturing Discipleship” and the text is one of my favorites from 2 Timothy 1:1-14. I hope you will make that extra effort to be here and even maybe to stay to nurture your own discipleship. Join a class or a one-time small group to consider ways of reaching out.
We are grateful for all of you who are helping with set up, break down, and clean up on Sundays. We are now forming a Property Team and would love to have you join it, especially if you are not otherwise committed at Peace. Let me know if you’re interested in serving in this extremely valuable way.
