This Week at Peace - - June 3rd, 2012

Ce-le-brate good times, come on!   This Sunday at Peace we are celebrating high school graduates, Nathan Grantham’s end of chemo, the arrival of Marilyn Tucker (seminary intern), and the departure of our Older Youth to the Conference in Montreat on June 9th

Pastor Tricia is preaching on Psalm 23, a favorite scripture for many people.   It will be a great day for building relationships at Peace – across generations.   We hope you can stay for the hot dog lunch and fun activities which follow worship.   Invite a friend.

Thank you to all who participated in the Building Vision Survey in May.  The Building Vision Team is processing information this week and next, and will be reporting to our Session of Elders soon.   We will keep you posted.

We are grateful for your Pentecost Offerings for Presbyterian ministries with young adults, youth, and at-risk children totaling $1154 this year!   Isn’t it a joy to know you are helping others with your generosity?   As a church, Peace is committed to a 10% benevolence  (a tithe) each year to mission giving.  Our next special offering is Food for Father’s Day – to the Manatee County Food Bank.

Peace to all,

Elizabeth
